Aberdeen, SD – (February 08, 2011) Expetec Corporation, an international IT franchise company recently announced a partnership with Artisan Infrastructure, the wholesale infrastructure-as-a-service provider based in Austin, Texas. The affiliation is designed to bring to market a cloud offering for Expetec’s franchisees, partners, and clients. After much research to find the best cloud solution, Expetec has chosen Artisan as its infrastructure platform on which to build a private, secure, dedicated solution.
The technology partnership, which has been in the making for several months, was headed by company Vice President Todd Sayler with the excellent assistance of Artisan’s team. It will provide “enterprise-grade cloud solutions for Expetec’s target market which is small to medium businesses in the 25 US and Canadian locations Expetec serves”, said Sayler in making the announcement.
“Although the term ’cloud’ as it relates to technology is still somewhat foreign to some individuals and businesses, this newest offering in technology will transform the way businesses do business much like the computer did decades ago”, said Expetec president Joan Ganje-Fischer.
“Cloud computing” is location-independent computing whereby shared servers provide resources, software, and data to computers and other devices on demand. There are big gains for small and medium size businesses. The advantages of the cloud allow ease of conducting business on the road, from your desk, at home, or your mobile phone. Because of the agility of the cloud, businesses can achieve higher efficiency; they can connect to their information using any internet access. Users pay only for what they use with no more need to purchase server hardware because of growth.
